Hyderabad is the capital and largest city of the South Indian state of Telangana. It was ruled by the Qutub ShahisMughals and the Nizams which shaped its history. The city is noted for its monuments which includes the masterpiece of Charminar and the fort of Golconda. There are a multitude of masjids, temples, churches and bazaars in the city.

Tourism-related fairs are held regularly, and in 2010, the city was listed among the Beta- World City by the global city index produced by GaWC, and in 2011 the city was rated 19th in the world by The New York Times in The list of 41 Places to Go in 2011. It was ranked 3rd Best City to Travel in 2013 by Lonely Planet.As of 2011, The tourism promotion budget for the city was increased to ₹520 million. Telangana, which is India’s top domestic tourist destination, receives up to 157 million visits, and reached 1.5 million international tourists, which generated US$23 million in revenue.The city houses famous historical sites including CharminarUNESCO Asia Pacific Heritage site of the Chowmahalla Palace, Salar Jung Museum (among the world’s largest private collection museums) as well as art galleries, libraries, sports complexes, museums and theaters.

Hyderabad is known as The City of Pearls, as once it was the only global centre for trade of large diamonds, emeralds and natural pearls.Many traditional and historical bazaars are located around the city. The Laad Bazaar situated near Charminar has shops that sell pearls, jewellery and products such as silverware, NirmalKalamkari paintings and artefacts, bidriwarelacquer bangles studded with stones, saris, handwoven materials in silk and cotton.The following is a list of tourist attractions in Hyderabad.

 

Day 1Hyderabad

Arrive at Hyderabad, receive and transfer to hotel. After freshen up, visits at Hyderabad covering Birla Mandir, Birla Science Centre, Birla Planetarium. Evening visit Shilparamam and Hitech city. Overnight stay at Hyderabad.

Day 2Ramoji Film City

9 AM to 8 PM visits to Ramoji Film City. Overnight stay at Hyderabad.

Day 3Hyderabad

After breakfast, proceed to visit Salarjung Museum, Choumohalla Palace, Charminar and Mecca Masjid (drive through). After lunch, visit Qutab Shahi Tombs, Golkonda Fort Sound & Light Show. Overnight stay at Hyderabad.

Day 4Yadagirigutta – Surendrapuri - Kolanpak - Hyderabad

Morning proceed to Kolanpak. En route visit Yadagirigutta and Surendrapuri. Visit Kolanpak Jain temple (kulpak ji) and return to Hyderabad. Overnight stay at Hyderabad.

Day 5Hyderabad

After breakfast, proceed to visit Nehru Zoological Park, Sudha Car Museum. After lunch, visit NTR Gardens, Necklace Road, Lumbini Park (enjoy laser show and boating in Hussain Sagar Lake). Overnight stay at Hyderabad.

Day 6Hyderabad

After breakfast, check out from hotel, proceed to Snow World, Shopping and evening drop at railway station / airport. Tour Ends.
