GANGOTRI BADRINATH YATRA
Gangotri : Shrine of Gangotri, to be found at an height of 3,200 mts. about sea-level amidst sylvan surroundings, constitutes one of the main pilgrimages for the devout Hindu.
Gangotri temple was build in the early 18th century by a Gorkha Commander Amar Sigh Thapa. The existing temple is said to be the one rebuild by the Jaipur dynasty. 1000s of pilgrims through the sacred shrine between May and October every year. The Pujaris and brahmins are from the village of Mukhwa. Water from Gangotri is carried to offer to Lord Shiva. It is believed that this water has amrit (nectar) in it and will soothe the throat of Shiva who gulp the poison.
Badrinath : Badrinath is to be found in the lap of Nar-Narayan Parvat, with the towering Neelkanth peak (6,597mts.) in the background. The path to Badrinath is one of the most difficult one due to the lofty hilly terrain, curves and cliffs amidst the most scenically beautiful place on the earth.

Detailed Itinerary
Day 01:Delhi – Haridwar (230 kms / 6hrs)
Arrival Delhi Railway Station, Meet and Assist further drive to Haridwar, enroute lunch. Afterward drive to Haridwar transfer to your Hotel. Visit Har-ki-Pauri for Ganga Aarti in evening time. Come back to your hotel, Dinner and Night stay.
Day 02 :Haridwar - Uttarkashi (230kms / 8hr)
Morning after Breakfast Drive to Uttarkashi. After check in Hotel, visit to Vishwanath Temple. Night stay.
Day 03 Uttarkashi - Gangotri - Uttarkashi (100kms / 3hr each side)
We carry on to Gangotri (3048 mts), on the way we get pleasure from picturesque Harsil village, Bhagirathi River and the most superb view of the Himalayas. After Gangotri Darshan we come back to Uttarkashi. overnight stay at Uttarkashi.
Day 04 :Uttarkashi - Rudraprayag (175kms / 6hr)
In the early hours morning, drive to Rudraprayag enroute visit Tehri Dam. Check in Hotel, and night stay.
Day 05 :Rudraprayag - Badrinath (165kms / 7hr)
Drive to Badrinath via Joshimath. Check in Hotel. Afterward at evening time visit Badrinath Temple for Aarti. Overnight stay.
Day 06 :Badrinath - Rudraprayag(165kms / 7hr)
In the early hours morning, pilgrims after having a bath in the Taptkund have the Darshan of Badrivishal. Brahamakamal is significant for Pinddan Shraddh of ancestors (Pitrus). There are other interesting sightseeing spot like Maatamoorti, Mana, Vyas Gufa, Charanpaduka, Bhimkund and the “Mukh” of the Saraswati River. Just within the 3 kms of Badrinathjee. Later drive back to Rudraprayag. Check in Hotel. Overnight stay at Rudraprayag.
Day 07 : Rudraprayag - Haridwar (165kms / 7hr)
In the early hours morning, visit Rudraprayag. Later, Drive back to Haridwar. Check in Hotel. Overnight stay.
Day 8 : Haridwar - Delhi(250kms / 7hr)
Morning, visit Haridwar Local Sightseeing ( Pawan Dham, Gita Tapowan, Nileshwar, Mansa Devi , Chandi Devi). Later drive back to Delhi. On Arr. Delhi, transfer to Railway Station / Airport. Tour end.
